Hawaii for A Night: Chicken Teriyaki Pineapple Bowls

This summer meal is a 20 minute meal, believe it or not, and an easy go-to for busy days or a great meal to host with. Have a luau for the fun of it and impress your friends with this serving.

Ingredients

Pineapple

1 Tbsp of Pineapple Juice

Chicken Breasts

Jasmine Rice

Teriyaki Sauce

Ginger

Pepper

Minced Garlic

Thinly Sliced Green Onions (at preference)

Sesame Seed to garnish

Directions

Slice pineapple in half beginning in the middle and leaving the stem. Use a severed knife.

Scoop pineapple chunks with a spoon or ice cream scooper. It scoops similar to a pumpkin,

You can make the sauce with soy sauce, brown sugar and pineapple juice. Or, opt for a pre-made Teriyaki sauce.

Chop chicken and season with salt, garlic and pepper. Cook chicken and rice in a separate pot.

Once done, divide rice and chicken in two half pineapple bowls.

Top with sesame seeds to garnish.
